Reginald R. Stelfox, Sr.

DOVER – Reginald R. Stelfox, Sr., 85 of Dover, PA passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, PA.  He was the husband of the late Ina (Kelsey) Stelfox who passed away January 31, 2021.

Reginald was born on December 16, 1940, in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late Everard and Mabel (Taylor) Stelfox.

He graduated in 1958 from New Oxford Senior High School in New Oxford, PA.  He was employed as a manager in the construction trade before retiring in 2006.  He attended North Hills Bible Church in York, PA.  Reginald proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Reginald is survived by his son, Reggie R. Stelfox, Jr., and his wife Shonna; his daughters, Cynthia Messick and her husband Matt, Connie Bernard and her husband Greg, Melissa Robertson and her husband Stephen; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Higgins and her husband Scott; eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren and two on the way.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Hankinson, and his brothers, Arthur Stelfox and Donald Stelfox.

His funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 47 North Queen Street, Dover, PA.  His viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.  His burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery in Dover.  Military honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
