YORK – Elliott J. Lawrence, beloved infant son of Kannan J. and Alexis K. (Lashley) Lawrence, went into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 23, 2026.  He passed in his favorite place, his mommy’s arms holding his daddy’s hand, surrounded completely by love, at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. 

He was born February 5, 2026 and was the perfect mixture of his parents, including his strong personality.  Elliott’s strength made quite an impression on his doctors and it didn’t take long for him to let everyone know that he was the boss.  He was loved immeasurably and will be missed deeply.

In addition to his parents, Elliott is survived by his paternal grandfather, Krishna Lawrence of Florida; maternal grandparents, Dale and Lisa Lashley of York; paternal great grandfather, Joseph Theismann and wife, Robin of Memphis, TN; maternal great grandfathers, Lloyd Yeager of York and Samuel Lashley of Bedford, PA; several uncles and aunts, Kolt, Kristen, Kristopher, Kali, Karissa and Kyra Lawrence and Logan and Jordan Lashley; and many more loved ones.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Amy Theismann; paternal great grandmothers, Sheri Brown and Maryann Lawrence; maternal great grandmothers, Sandra Yeager and Clara Lashley; and an aunt, Melinda Lashley.

Services for Elliott will be private at the convenience of his family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.
